You can find investors on craigslist, we buy houses signs, facebook, linked in, investor groups or go to the court house and search for cash buyers of recent real estate sales.  

LinkedIn is another good option if they are a professional, you can sometimes find their current employer there if they have a page.

I've reached out to a lot of recruiters at healthcare staffing agencies on LinkedIn and on their site haven't had much luck over the past year either.

In my view, the Marketplace has become indistinguishable from Craigslist, LinkedIn, Connected Investors, and the like.
