A Morgan Stanley travel agent said that the trip, along with a similar event in the Bahamas, was still on as of Tuesday afternoon.

The broker for the property, Brian Harp, BLH Property Management, has repeated ignored requests to return our $500 deposit and made numerous excuses for not sending it (been travelling, can't find papers, .....).

I do not feel this thread has been hijacked, and I really enjoy, and respect, David's opinion and experience.This is what I feel people are missing: All sides here are correct to some extent.Real estate has so many different roads a person can travel.

Yes, when roaches have a trail they like to follow behind the walls, they leave droppings during their travels. 

I'm currently located in Central Illinois, but I will travel to wherever there is an opportunity (paid or unpaid).

I have more time to travel now and have meet ups with fellow investors both old and experienced and new, seeking knowledge which I am more than happy to pass along whenever it can prove to be of benefit to others. 

I'm on the tail end of a two year "career break" where I resigned from a government job to travel the world.
