Like others I would recommend other sites in addition to Craigslist, When I post ads I usually post on the following platforms:1) Zillow - They also push your add to the Zillow affiliated sites Trulia, and Hotpads so you get three ads on three sites when you set-up the ad on Zillow 2) Apartments.com3) Realtor.com4) Facebook marketplaceThese platforms are also a little more professional and has the fill-in boxes for most of what you're asking on the Craigslist ad so people won't feel like you're an email or phone number collector fishing for contacts to sell the information which is common on Craigslist.

For your lake vacation rental...fishing equipment, a non motorized boat, a well stocked kitchen with all utensils and gadgets, a wine fridge or a kegorator with a craft 1/6 bbl, gas or charcoal grill, chimenea, cornhole game, a SMART tv, an accurate pellet gun with pellets or a scoped single shot .22 or .17HMR, some adult movies and a blue ray player in the master bedroom with an HDTV, bubble bath if you have a tub or jacuzzi, an indoor/outdoor sound system, some mountain bikes, binoculars, some games like trivial pursuit/electronic darts, two single shot shotguns and a skeet thrower with skeet, an outdoor firepit, a "help yourself" herb and vegetable garden, tiki lights, a small trebuchet for the kids, some basic tools like a socket set/wrenches/screwdrivers, and finally the most important thing...mosquito repellant.

Before you call the cops, this is a metaphorical question to buying now or waiting for the market.I'm a small fish trying to understand when is the best time to buy, and as history has its economic depression (eg: '07-'08) I find myself wondering if I should save up all the money I have from a 9-5 job or start the buy-and-hold strategy?
