It will feel cold and harsh, but you have to be very clear that you follow the lease and there is no wiggle room because if you give an inch they will take a mile and you have set a precedent of not following the lease and creating a "verbal" agreement that you didn't intend to.

Plus, they essentially close the city down when we get 1 inch because the city doesn't have the infrastructure to deal with it.If you have the time and resources to spend a couple of long weekends in different cities that you're interested in, I'd highly recommend it.
