With the awful traffic in the bay area I'm betting people would pay premium to rent closer to their jobs and therefore appreciation would be higher.I know my thinking is called speculation from a lot of forums here, but I still think of it as investing for the long term where jobs and talent are based..

The nucleus of success in real estate in developing that specific talent and it's not difficult if you put your mind to it.  

Learn by watching what these "top producers" are doing and "before you know it" ...you can "hit the streets running" when you decide to become a full-time agent, with "new-found talent" and "working relationships" with the "good agents" Those "top producers" time is valuable, so if you keep "throwing good deals in their laps", ...

They have a few investor specific classes as well but I have never talent hem to know how good they are.

It's actually a really good school & attracts well educated talent from across the midwest & country (with a decent affluent base).  

Given my computer talents, I'd bet the latter.Tod
