My sentiments come from having 11 different roommates in college (from undergrad to law school students) and dealing w/ the lack of respect for the living area/other roommates was enough for me to be opposed to having roommates again.Having said that, I think the type of people chosen would be very important and I think I could be a lot more particular about what I'm looking for in a roommate if I decided to go down that route.

Don't get sentimental or partial towards one property or the other - whichever one has the highest monthly profits and cash on cash return, that's the one I'm buying.BiggerPockets is a great resource for people learning to invest.

We think we tracked down the bank - i used their website form to submit an inquiry since there is no apparent way to reach a human when you call...Its a great neighborhood, but also sentimental for my husband to be next to the house he grew up in.
