Maybe the BP knows the investors though and knows one can fix it and the other will not ever pull it together.The house has rotten wood, old termite damage, floor falling through, foundation issues, large hole in the roof, but the major issue is it was used to manufacture / cook meth.

Some of the big concerns that you'll have buying a house without access is the foundation, possible mold issues, or just a bad layout.I'd never buy a house unseen if I didn't have a crew ready and experienced to deal with whatever we might encounter.

Based on discussion with my realtor, the first-time buyer couldn't pull enough funds in the time frame and 2nd-time party backed out due to the misunderstanding of the foundation issue with the property.I've been provided the inspection report from previous parties.

But I would not buy it as-is for 230k - you are paying retail or higher for a house that needs work.Also, it has a slab foundation - if the house still has cast iron plumbing, you will be in for some major headaches down the line, or may even need to repipe now before putting in new flooring.

Additionally, some lenders do offer VA construction loans, but the renovations to the property can only be cosmetic (floors, cabinets, roof) and not structural (foundation, moving walls, building additions, etc).Good luck!
