Have to know when to say no to someone. my Dad who taught me how to sell real estate and work with the buying public always told me Son your an independent contractor you choose who you work with not the other way around and the most important word is NEXT. 

The key would be to properly line up a plan (Scope of work, contractor, exit numbers)!

I'd say the exact thing to a manager as I do my contractors: "I won't tell you what your time is worth".But since I manage my own at a small scale, I have some idea.

I hired a licensed contractor to do the work but still ran into so many issues with the inspectors. 

He has connections to trustworthy Agents, contractors, CPA's, and lawyers, and of course, he would manage my property(ies) for me.

Will we be doing it ourselves or maybe we need a reliable investor friendly contractor to help out.

When in between contractor relationships, I'll schedule 3-4 estimates because some don't even show.

In my 20s I did Construction, Demo, and Remolding for a few general contractors.
