Turns out the old cast iron pipe had rusted through completely, this meant tearing up concrete walkway in front of house to exchange for a PVC pipe and to install cleanouts.

If I were to expand on rehab needs I’d say the house also needs a 3’x10’ slab of cement to complete a walkway in the backyard, install a door to hide the water heater that’s on the movie room/garage conversion, and paint just for the new house look.

When you put a wall there you have to have a handrail which can protrude up to 4 1/2" leaving less than 32" walkway down the stairs. if 2 handrails it would be even less.

Before I moved it upstairs, I would consider building a covered walkway from front door to back entrance, that way both tenants can be more comfortable walking to do laundry.

As time goes on I find a few more things that need to be done such as the ductless AC, Walkway to front steps (It's just grass right now), front brick steps are usable but I wonder if they could be considered a safety issue.I don't know, maybe I'm just over thinking this.
