Laundry in Kitchen?
I have a 700sf 2 bd apartment that I’m considering installing a stacked washer and dryer in the unit. The only spot for it is in the kitchen. There is room for it, however it’s not necessarily a spacious kitchen to begin with.
Is this uncommon in a small apartment like this? I feel like in unit laundry adds a ton of value, but I don’t want to ruin the layout of the space. The other issue is I’d need to enclose it somehow.

I think it will be fine to have the washer/dryer in the kitchen given that it is a small space.
I would just provide the hookups and the space. Let the tenants provide the washer/dryer if they want it. That way you are not responsible for the upkeep and repairs on the W/D.
