This narrowed my search a little, I violently disliked one of the guys on the list. 

For instance if crime increased slightly but population increased a lot then it's common to have more crime with an influx of population.Now what is bad is when there are an increase of violent type crimes versus non-violent.You can only get so much data online and some areas will not have it online.

Let's assume that it was violent crime, such as strong arm robbery, shootings, etc.

Non-violent criminal history over 3-5 years at your discretion.

If it were Portland OR or Seattle WA you'd be stuck with a violent tenant, not allowed to evict.

I just learned she was the victim of a violent crime a couple years ago.

Evictions and violent crime convictions are an absolute no for me.
