In March when this pandemic hit and Airbnb literally started canceling reservations which was a wake-up call to Airbnb hosts to become short-term rental operators.

Now at 41… I’m awake and ready.

Tenets loved me as I did them so much that when I got a bill in excess of $1000 it turned out the tenant didn’t want to bother me with a running toilet even though it kept them awake at night.  

Sorry if I sounded harsh, but I think you needed a wake up call. 

I guess my question is this, should I wait until I have more time (9 months away when I'm no longer a single Dad awake on business frequently) or do you think it's worthwhile seeking an experienced investor willing to take on a newbie offering something they probably have but see that said newbie is serious about learning.

The truth is that you are the first one awake and the last one to sleep.

At the time of my REI awaking, as a graduate student, I had participated in around $40k in rent payments with my roommates over 4.5 years.

I didnt do this and have lost one potential tenant to a neighbors dog, and have had my own bad bad thoughts wide awake at 2am on how to handle the barking.
