That's what I needed ok so take the prelicensing course under an instructor to get a better understanding and then go from there.

So it did the trick for me, but I know many people that do better with in-class training and I'm sure there is a lot of additional information you can get from an experienced instructor that the on-line course wouldn't provide. 

IMO, Renatus does have some great instructors and yes you can learn a ton, but they are also pretty aggressive on becoming a marketer and that in my opinion can derail your efforts as it takes away focus (again, just my two cents and I am speaking from experience in the Renatus model). 

My instructor was extremely knowledgeable and opened my eyes to a lot of the Do’s and Dont’s of the industry that unfortunately often go unheeded.

I liked the instructor, but it did feel like just going through the motions to get through the book.When I got my brokers license I went with the Adler Toro school in Union City.

More useless info: My college welding instructor was trained by the gas company.

I enjoyed reading replys from Eleena and Elizabeth One of my BIL's now retired was some kind of bomb and or demolition instructor ( he got to train others how to blow stuff up ) he spent time at several different bases every year and ended up purchasing something near each of them ,he always said they may downsize for a while very seldom close.
