The latest project I am about to embark on is pulling out the existing vinyl tile on the shower/tub wall and replacing it with new tile.Question for BP: as a Landlord, what is the best type of backsplash material for a shower/tub project?

Marble, stainless steel appliances, really nice kitchen backsplashes, nice hardwood flooring, etc.

This last contractor labor only received over 7000.00 balance of 900 still have backsplash, small area baseboards and 5 small windows to installed and says he's not returning to work since I asked a new agent to confirm his % of completion before payment, he also refuse to give us the HVAC person contact who connected the furnace.

.$400 for backsplash tile in a moderate kitchen. $600 for labor..$3000 for all appliances.$4K - 7K for cabinets.

One house we are doing now, we have a 9 foot span window in the kitchen instead of a backsplash and the granite goes from the inside through that window to the outside, with a bar on the otherside. 

Replaced all flooring, painted top to bottom, new fixtures, new stainless steel appliances, replaced counter tops, added back splash, repaired sheet rock on ceiling in laundry room, new front door and garage entry door to kitchen, new garage door.

Also, if you put a pretty back splash, people are very emotional get tied to pretty features!

We are looking for local suppliers for flooring, tile (floor & backsplash), light and faucet fixtures, etc. for an upcoming rehab and would love your tips.  

Kitchen includes Granite counters, Tile backsplash & stainless steel appliances.

Depending on current cabinet condition, you could refinish them and add new hardware and then update backsplash and counters.
