Photography is what sets our rentals apart from other rentals and companies.

While I know aerial photography and videography is pretty common in commercial/residential real estate, I'm exploring new (possibly unsaturated) markets for something like that.

I'm no photography pro but to my understanding this type of stuff is somewhat common.

If you stage a place well, get nice photos taken (use Airbnb's free photography service), provide prompt responses and good customer service, you can do very very well.

A listing in the higher price range needs certain marketing tools: professional photography (no - your iPhone or even that DSLR your sister got you do NOT count), professional staging, BROKER's open houses - not regular open houses.

Tyann Marcink is a really incredible photographer, and she has some great tips about staging and photography on her blog and elsewhere.

I think it's purely a photography issue but also the place needs a little more curb appeal on the outside.

Before that I was with keller Williams (not making much) for about 6 months and a photography assistant for extra cash.
