Change your agreement to indicate 24hr notice or whatever complies with the warehousers act in your province.

There could be a state purchase tax (we have provincial property purchase tax in some provinces, but not others) or property taxes (if they were just paid by the seller, you will need to reimburse them for the remainder of the year, again depends how it works down there). 

Honestly, your best bet is to reach out to a mortgage broker in the province you’ll be coming to and let them know what your plans are.

Hey everyone,After finding the podcasts and learning the power of real estate I have focused the last year on buy and hold real estate in my province.

The only requirement I've seen in my province in Canada is that you need a line in the contract that reads "The tenancy created by this agreement is governed by the Residential Tenancies Act and if there is a conflict between this agreement and the Act, the Act prevails."

I don't know how much things change between provinces, but I am in Alberta (Calgary). 

A person I have talked to a number of times, a lender, feels like syndications are just too distal and uncontrollable for his liking, perhaps not unlike Rome venturing out so far that it couldn't manage the provinces effectively.

My word of caution is to recognize that sometimes the terminology and processes are different (but that could also be said in between states and provinces anyway so it’s not really a country issue). 

BC has a few things that other provinces don't.
