I've been considering several approaches for re-entry, with the brokers license and the ability to hang out my own shingle in the center.Brokers and PM's are already regulated as to the handling of client funds through trust accounts and making sure those funds are segregated and accounted for separately, so no desire to comingle or involve "his own account" with SD money in any way, and I have no questions about how to handle the bank/accounting aspects to support that.In my mind, (don't start), nothing I had hoped I might do, would infringe on an otherwise arms length transaction, or impact my SD account beyond the wisdom of my own investment choices.

Also I occasionally do a tear off and shingle a roof. 

That was 30 year shingles.

If you're a roofer, a Lumper- all you do is carry stacks of shingles and tear off, you can make $50,000 per year.  

I just closed on a 2/1 that needs renovation (kitchen, bath, paint, shingles) in a good safe area.

An asphalt shingled roof can be easily stripped above the damaged ceiling area however the water could be getting under the shingles up-roof from where it's shown-up inside.

One person I was working with said she “updated” the roofing shingles to get more in rent lol.. dont do that.

And the shingles probably last a little longer since the panels are blocking the UV.

I just need to replace some shingles, and a garage door.
