@Arlen Chou the main issue of the case is that if LL loses, then all of a sudden "market rent" gets legislated, and defined at the whim of rent boards, and litigious tenant lawyers.

Only one person I have ever met made it from zero when we first spoke to 1400 units and built an actual business.I think the next 5 to 10 years will be interesting; I expect prices to keep rising to unexpected levels along with the dollar (and debt) loosing value - until legislation and builders can ramp up production to fill the backlog and match demand.

I was reading about some of the legislation passed in recent years in the area and it appears that AirCover has coverage limits that are high enough to be enough on its' own, however, my insurance broker is telling me that I do need additional coverage and that my current carrier won't cover it, so the only option is to rewrite my home/auto/umbrella with a new carrier and it may double and balloon to like $7K/yr!

@Dan StrandbergNor are you likely to find such a thing.Privacy legislation generally precludes a business model which traffics in such information.Depending upon your province, there may be a centralized land registry or taxation authority where you can access such information for a specific property - there may be a per transaction fee or subscription required.
