The Ikea cabinet backs are flimsy so the boxes rack and you can never get them plumb and level, and you have to use their confounding hardware to attach to the walls and use sheet rock anchors.

I was told by a plumber he could remove the traditional water heater and put a tankless water heater outside; thus, it would open up that 2.5' x 2.5' space for more room.My question is rather than paying $1k+ for a tankless water heater, is it safe to just move the traditional water heater I have to the outside, but enclosed in a wooden "shed"?

They would have to remove the old antenna, but that should be easy since it is on the end of the gutter on a wooden beam.

Anyone ever had any experience with using wooden counter tops...Have seen this on Pinterest and seems really cheap (50 bucks total) but is it durable?
