Ask yourself these additional questions: 1) is the property in a good location 2) what other repairs can you anticipate 3) is the cash flow healthy when not factoring large capex itemsTry not to make a shortsighted decision because you’ll find yourself in the same situation again without understanding the root cause of your current one.

Regular pumping removes the solids in the bottom and grease at the top.2 )trees/bushes allowed to grow too close to any part of the system - the roots infiltrate the system and plug the lines (this happens with traditional city sewers too!).

Roots got in and cause a major backup into my house, complete with water damage on the second floor and ceiling damage where it leaked down into the finished basement.I think the answer is no, but just wanted to double check to see if you think USAA homeowner's insurance will cover the cost of replacing the main metal sewage line with PVC, about 70' worth.

You get offsets and bellys, and some surface cracking, but the worst is often just some root intrusion.

Also, you can kind of do some "job search" in the area to help you get some # of population in the area as well (if there are a a lot of jobs in that area, probably and most likely more population) Good luck, but i root for 30318!!
