Hello everyone,I'm looking into pursuing my real estate license instead of going straight into college after the Marine Corps because it seems more appealing to me and sparks my interest, plus I feel as though I have the dedication and work ethic to succeed in aspects that others may fail in.Looking for some inputs of your first year in real estate, location, struggles, successes, tips, etc.

@Christian Marin As with any wholesaling deal you've got to have a spread between the what the seller is selling at and what the buyer is buying at.  

I had knee surgery in 2006 when i was in the Marine Corps -- i lived on the 3rd deck and someone would have laughed me out of the building if I had requested a ramp.

Marine Corp vet?

We are a small city, of approximately 80,000 residents, but have experienced a lot of growth in recent years due to the neighboring Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune. 

A little about me, from michigan came to California in 2002 to join the marines. since leaving the corps i now own and operate a pepperidge farm route.

If you let them marinate for a couple of years and fine-tune them, you will have more money available via BRRR or refi on them to take money out and use your own possibly.

I currently own a small parking lot seal coating and striping business in Sacramento, and spent 5 years in the Marine Corps before that as an Arabic Linguist and Intelligence guy.About two months ago, I read Rich Dad Poor Dad and since then have become absolutely addicted to real estate.

Presently, I am working with a large Marine manufacturer here in South Florida and I love working with boats.
