@Ryan Lam I would also strongly suggest learning everything you can about the construction trades...this will help you immensely over the years to take on distressed houses (where the real money is IMO) and do your own walk-throughs and assessments before buying.Read books/watch YT/Go to Home Depot workshops/help friends/volunteer to help a GC with clean-up/etc....

I just attended the 3 day Fortune Builders "crash course" "kindergarten" workshop.

Hey @Tony Akhigbe and @Carson Wilcox,The niche is the large workshop/garage, where we will definitely be very careful/picky on the tenant we rent it to.

I met him in person and attended several of his workshops at BPCON23.

We own the property with my father-in-law that has lived in the other side, and we split the 15 year fixed 50% with him.3,032 sqft total, each unit having 3br 2ba and full kitchensNet Zero home with a giant solar system and no gas (we only pay the $25 per month service fee for all our energy needs)2.25 acres backing a moderately traveled highway3,000 sqft detached heated workshop with a half-bath that can accommodate a motorhome Both parties will be moved from the property in about two months to different personal residences, and both parties are newbie and excited REI's.Our plan A was to sell the property (currently listed with a local REA on the MLS for $750,000 - many realtors have walked and said the property is priced spot-on) and use the cash to invest elsewhere.

They have put on some workshops I've wanted to attend, however I've always had prior commitments to make the drive.  

I have a question for the guys leading the wholesaling workshop; Aaron Mazzrillo and Ryan Weber.

In today's age of information at your fingers you shouldn't pay for any real estate courses/bootcamps/workshops/mentorship.

Because our REIA holds a new investors workshop every month for new investors just starting out where you can go and talk with experianced investors and board members one on one and they will answer all your questions and help you in any way they can .
