New, Hopeful, Kansas City Investor

Just wanted to drop in and introduce myself. 31 year old real estate hopeful in the Kansas City Market! Currently work full time in IT. If anyone in the Kansas City Market has any tips, advice or just general knowledge they would like to share, that would be amazing! I hope to use the BRRR strategy to build a solid portfolio and exit the rat race!

I've heard of a couple good REIA groups in the KC area. Mid America Association of Real Estate Investors is one I am familiar with. They have put on some workshops I've wanted to attend, however I've always had prior commitments to make the drive. One of these days will make it up there.
