I wouldn't want to hear a flush in the middle of the night but this seems to be common in townhouses.Closet on the second bedroom is a bit big.

The upstairs tenant was in a rush to go somewhere and had to use the restroom so they did their thing, flushed the toilet and ran out of the house (around 2AM). 

The inspections will be important because the disclosures have already named that there's insufficient water pressure and that the toilet backs up when it flushes.
