Here they would be the latter.Those planks have little insulation value themselves (my reference chart indicates the R-value of wood ranges from 1.2 to about 2.5 per inch depending on the type of wood and how dry it is), but they will help hold blown insulation in the wall cavities and you will not have to apply screening or patch drywall (or even plug the holes you will drill in the planks).

I'm risking sounding like a danged fool here but I have a problem that honestly I should've solved 20 years ago. We keep calcium chloride and sand/salt in 5 gallon pails at all our buildings. We keep them in entry way...

The confusion seems to stem around whether one should get "verified" as an accredited investor, which entails getting a certification letter from your own CPA, Attorney, or Registered Investment Advisor, or from a third party verification company, who reviews the investor's financial information and then "verifies" whether they meet the accredited investor definition above.

The exterior sides of my cabinets appear to be particle board covered with contact paper ( oak design :roll: )The lower portions on 2 of them are peeling away, probably from just drying out.

There is no evidence of termite infestation, but I will inspect and treat as necessary, then build a stem wall for that part of the foundation.All utilities are at the site.This is a large lot, the back of the lot is 30 yards away from a railroad.
