As an industry and society we should be done with telling others to sit in the back of the bus. 

Ethics is not what one person believes to be ethical, but the expectations of a group or society for acceptable conduct.

Am I frustrated with myself NOT yet.Our whole society is built around buying crap we don't need and probably wont use.

There are more similarities than differences between these two things yet one is "irresponsible" and the other one is the foundation of society.

Makes you think...We are increasingly living in a society that has jettisoned all idea of personal responsibility.

Investors place themselves in a position of influencing and controlling basic aspects of human needs in society, the need for shelter.

Seek out the local legal aid society for a thorough review of your facts and to determine whether you are liable based on prior dealings, and what rights your parents have by virtue of the unique facts of this case.

Aside from the fact that the current system can't handle the kinds of loads today's society normally puts on a house (single 15amp breaker for each floor, I can't have anything aside from the kitchen light on if I want to run the microwave), there is apparently romex incorrectly spliced into the knob and tube.

That's not to say people cant snap out of it if they wake up, but our society breeds consumers!
