The past speaker was an attorney discussing tenant law. 

Also note that some REIA groups are a part of National REIA and we have a once a year event where we compare notes on trainers and the trainers that do a bad job don't get invited back, the speakers that everyone is happy with, get referred.Plus if you do buy training from a trainer through the local REIA group, our buying power and combined forces nationwide that could get them barred from most stages, is very helpful when a problem comes up from time to time. 

Honestly, I not only listen to the speakers, i also evaluate the audience because one day the RE business will get over crowded with the laggards and suckers.

There will also be many experts there as speakers on a variety of topics of interest to community owners, as well as many community owners to network with over three days and evenings.

There have been some occasional really good speakers at AIA like Pete Fortunate.

Have a few guest speakers, some networking events.

I've read articles on him that says he started failing businesses (not real estate related), until he wrote a good book.There are probably people on this forum that have more real estate than either of these two.By the way, Dave Ramsey is also a very wealthy AUTHOR, radio host, television personality, and motivational speaker.

It has great content, the speakers don't try to sell you anything, and it's a great networking opportunity.
