Fridges cost me same as you.

They trashed the floors (carpet & LVP), damaged the washing machine & dishwasher ; trashed the deck stairs risers; poop in yard; trashed one bathroom vanity, left tons of their clothes, fridge & pantry closets full of food, didn't maintain the yard, deck stair risers were damaged. 

We redid the floors, painted the walls changed the kitchen cabinets (thinking of changing the counter-top and fridge as well), as well as some other small upgrades.

For a short term rental it won't do as well, but you could get away with a hotel set up (mini fridge and microwave) no extra sink.

You should have enough set aside to cover a fridge or stove. 

You don’t have to have a fridge or a stove, but if it is there, it must work.

They take an order from the guest and the food is in the fridge by the time the guest arrives.

And peel the plastic off the fridge!!!!
