As such, NY will likely require that your Managing LLC either be formed in NY or registered in NY as a foreign entity.

@Nilton SantosIf you are going to be involved in flipping, you will have to make sure you are there during the rehab phase of your flip otherwise you have a good chance of getting taken advantage of.I recommend attending some REI events here in NY as there are quite a few. 

@Charlie MacPhersonWe renovated a 3 family in upstate ny a couple years ago. 

It's just that I am from NY as well and find it hard to believe you could find a property this cheap there.

I'm currently wholesaling in Orange County, NY as well as the 5 Boros of NYC.

@Frank Chin I had the opportunity to travel to NY a few years ago with my son and his middle school.I hear that just owning a car, in many parts, costs thousands of $$ just for parking.The last car we purchased was our fourth vehicle. 

Any tips, advice..P.s I'm planning to flip this it needs a minor rehab and market comps are from 290-315k currently But obviously I wanted to keep the costs down as low as possible Thanks a bunch  Taxes are expensive in NY as you know.
