You can get a new steel tub at home depot for $300 (don't get the fiberglass tubs, they crack under the weight of fat Americans) If you are going to remodel the whole bathroom my vote would just be to put in a new tub.

Subtle but makes the kitchen look better.I always tile my showers, when a lot of competition does Fiberglass surround.I do accent walls, I've done wine coolers, wine racks, etc... things they wouldn't expect but makes an impression.None of these actually "add" value in my opinion.

Markets are tough next to military bases and using the design approach mentioned we were able to utilize roof trusses/floor trusses in our design, 8 ft ceilings, engineered wood floors throughout, basic cabinets, fiberglass shower inserts and basic trim.

Peter FokasRemoving it is simply a matter of installing new tanks - either inside the building or a double-skinned fiberglass tank outside - changing the connection; draining the old tank(s); then removing the old tanks.Not really more complicated ... a little more expensive ... all the more reason to have it done before taking possession.

It costs 3 times as much as the cheap stuff, but the prep work usually makes up for about half of this difference.We prefer the use of fiberglass tub surrounds when possible.
