The improvements will vary but I'm going for more of a really elegant updated modern cabin with good amenities.

Foreign people does not have a SSN or background history to be elegible for loans (including real estate loans), unless the loan is secured in some way.Most foreign people make investment by themselves not using loans, however still need to be ready to fill a declaration of the funds used for the investment.Beyond that the only difference after the investment is made, if the real estate is sold at some point, sale taxes will be applied with no deductions, unless special situation would be involved in the nature of the real estate property.

You may be able to upgrade out of that delay.I have not found a more elegant solution yet.Good luck
