Very fascinating...From a qualitative perspective, I think there is always that rite of passage even if you go straight into an apprenticeship, the time in which you must learn the craft, first, and yes you do get paid something, however minimal, during that time as an apprentice.

But by and large in my years in the industry most that make it work it for some company and put in an apprenticeship  ( just like a good carpenter they don't start out as journeymen)  then move up the chain or move out of the business.I also see investors games of just kind of using these people.. yes you go spend what little you have drive around find me a house.. make a small fee while I cash in.. and your only as good as the next deal you bring me.. if you don't bring me anything well sorry it did not workwhat ever this hype is about selling "how to"  to  people that see this as some great big profit generator when they have no money is just not reality.

really depends on what you want to do.. along the way the wash out rate for agents is above 50%.. and like I said wash out for wholesalers is about 90% but that 10% can make a nice living .. and morph into other areas.. usually they like to think they want to be landlords. oh and along the way I owned over 500 SFR's as rentals.. that my man is a ton of work and was very glad to sell out.. so lots of ways to use a brokers license along with some of the most successful brokers out there are Commerical brokers long apprenticeship but if you can stick it out its a 300 to 1mil a year income JOB and you are rubbing elbows with the very rich and very successful..
