I pulled out the carpet out the house so there's absolutely no carpet in the house and I scrubbed the house with vinegar. unfortunately the house still smells like cigarettes and wet dog/ the pet odor smell.

They caved.That being said, you're better off starting with honey (i.e. you'll get more flies with honey than with vinegar) when you try getting some of the items bumped from the list.
