I’m hoping that someone might be willing to trade some free labor (I’m in good shape and I’m a quick learner) for experience in renovating, and any other general advice you might be willing to give.

I too disagree with @Judah Hoover statement that knowledge is not power...and maybe that was simply a mistype..lolProper knowledge, in a format best suited for you as a learner (i.e. webinars, podcasts, books, curriculum programs, etc.), is valuable and should be sought before doing anything for sure.

The project manager and I hire those who we feel from experience will be fast learners, and more likely to be concientious about the work we give them.  

I'm a fast learner and a complete sponge on the real estate investing topic. 

I'm a quick learner with excellent social skills, but I'm somewhat of an introvert.

I still plan on taking his bootcamp course in the future because I heard he is one of the best in Ca, but for now, I'll have to be a very fast learner.

I'm an extremely fast learner, and willing to do the leg work.

I think at the end of the day it's going to come down to what kind of learner you are and what value you see in accelerating your path.Some like to go at their own pace and dig in on their own (as it seems you've done with SFH).

It's ok because I'm a taticle learner, I will only get better with hands-on practice; constantly sitting, listening and reading is obviously not helping me.
