Depending on location they can cost a lot to replace but when you factor in what you save from paying sewer bills it’s cheaper in long run.It would not stop me from buying a house

You may have to balance spending money on things today that you may not really need until later - but, they may cost a LOT more to change later.

My friend that originally told me about that company in COsta Rica ended up changing to the company I found. 

And, I minimize the cost as much as possible since there's no point in pouring tons of money at a depreciating "asset".

As of now Costa-Hawkins prohibits rent controls between tenants (is that restriction ends as tenant leaves) in California.

Maybe they'll underestimate what it will cost as well. 

To join the normal group that is ran by Tom Krol and Cody Hofhine is $5,000 but I don't know if their other program cost as much or not. 

I have a place in Costa Rica that's doing very well and looking for a full amenity type location next.  

Building was about the same cost as buying used.
