Do you have a habitat for humanity restore nearby? 

I've been doing fire restoration jobs for about 50 years and when the city gets involved some of them turn into nightmares because the city often requires full upgrades for the electrical and plumbing system.

That's when I found out that the town this property was located in considered it to be of historic value and would only permit for a much more costly (but no more functional) windows, doors, and brick restoration.

However, I'm at the point where I've exhausted my VA eligibility and I'm investigating strategies to restore it.According to the official VA website (www.benefits.va.gov): Veterans can have previously-used entitlement "restored" to purchase another home with a VA loan if:1. 

What if I disposed of the SFR and used my one-time restoration after the first multi family?

Bought it cheap, and was well rewarded for my efforts in fully restoring the property while rebuilding relationships with the neighbors & city.  

You have to allow reasonable accommodations for disabilities but you don't have to pay for those and they have to restore the property when they move out if you want them to. 

I've missed the previous posts here and would be curious to know what was said can these posts be restored?  

I want to purchase the property off market in the Leon valley area in San Antonio (older builds with room for moderate restoration and value add).

It was restored to a single family home.
