There are times when we have just hours between tenants, but we like to get at least a few days unless we have a big project such as replacing flooring, repainting, or other larger projects.

Either repainted or replace.- The black grout in the bathroom and kitchen may have been originally white so that will need to be verified/cleaned.- The stove looks about done or its just caked in grease.

Replaced flooring, repainted the entire house, installed new trim, new doors, and cleaned like a maniac.I plan on resurfacing bathtubs and bathroom tile, fix garage doors, improve landscaping, and get a new backsplash/countertop for kitchen throughout the year before I house hack another home.All the comparable in the area are selling for 40k+ over our purchase price, I will consider refinancing whenever the FED cuts rates.What was the outcome?

Foundation fixed ( HOA Responsibility) Upper Windows cleaned, tub resurfaced, rooms repainted, a hole in a window screen.

It wasn't something I could take a picture of like you would a broken blind or hole in the wall.I had to spend a good bit of money on repainting the house, cleaning, etc. to remediate the smell.

It was less than two grand for a day and a half effort, including hauling away affected furnishings, then we had regular contractor replace remaining floor covering, repaint, and good to go...

Repainted tiles will last around 2.5 to 3 years. 

Later we were told that they'll assess damage to the property, and after a week, gave some pics..that it will be a $2800 expense for ONLY trash removal & repainting.

We re-painted the interior top to bottom, re-painted some exterior.

We re-painted most rooms top to bottom (and painted some trim white from honey oak) and re-did flooring in entry and kitchen.
