Here on the ground, the only actual feedback or cancelations we've gotten are actually the opposite with some bookings being lost to Hispanic travelers that are afraid of the governor's immigration policies (actual guest message), but even those I'm sure are barely a rounding error and mostly fluff in the grand scheme of things.So you have a bunch of markets acting basically exactly the same. 

@Dan Burstain, people been saying that in Texas since we forced out the Mexicans by illegal immigration of white Americans from the north about 200 years ago.

Our population is growing, naturally and immigration, so it should be offset by an increase in supply.

Rogers and Springdale are more working class and home to larger immigrant communities.

For context I moved here last year from the UK and have been renting in Manhattan, saved up well and want to start putting cash to work via either a house hack or just generally sound investment.

However, most parts of Mexico where tourists go are at the same level as the UK, France, Germany, Spain, ....

Before that, I bought and refurbished houses in the UK in the '90s and sold all my properties in 2007. 

IRS, Immigration, just some real basic areas off the top of my head where you can get in real trouble. 

There is the constant stream of new immigrants as well who are finding it extremely difficult to sustain themselves here after their savings have dried up.
