When we looked at QB, it's international support was a little weak and that was a criteria for us.Being a UNIX and Mac shop, both of my companies (Software and Real Estate) are using Cognito's MoneyWorks Gold and we've been happy with it thus far (4-years).

The investor is paying for what is needed and none of the bloat.Anyone who has experienced headache of a terrible tenant without a good property manager in place knows that PM are worth their weight in gold regardless of how and what they charge.

@J Scott books, site, and posts are gold. 

The unwashed masses are looking for the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, so these guys will continue to peddle those dreams.  

That being said I live in a place where oil is gold and the boom comes and goes every decade or so.
