Maybe you could attend a Wholesalers workshop in Tacoma one night a week on Monday.  

If there is a couple grand at play they may not drag the piano across your wood floors but rather get a professional mover to do it right.

One said I need a home occupation business license, one said I need a business license with an endorsement in each city I have a deal (and additionally, a separate one if I work in Tacoma), and another said I don't need a license at all unless I have a store front or a business that sells actual product.

Try to find a 1990 or newer (many movers wont move older than this) for a couple grand or free....then plop it there for a couple grand (moving fee)...and you've spend $5k on a dwelling on your parents property.

Tacoma is a decent spot though- I'd say you can start doing a direct mail campaign directed at older MFH in that area.
