It was very eye-opening and I encourage other landlords to do the same in their jurisdiction as I learned a lot.I watched all different types of hearings (i.e. landlords represented by attorneys, landlords not represented by attorneys, uncontested evictions, as well as evictions contested by the tenant both with and without witnesses on their side, etc).

The sales agent doesn't typically like it, but when a seller is at their financial wits end with a vacant home, they can't really argue that it's not in their best interest.  

@Michael Roeder, every state has its own "statute of frauds", that sets forth the requirements for certain kinds of contracts to be in writing, signed, witnessed and/or notarized.  

I also like to get a witness at signing things, that she is in her right mind, not a big deal but it can be at that age.

Of course, there are few who can match the wit and charm of both Joshua and Brandon but here is a real life story for those who quit, fail, or never get started:I started my journey last summer making the choice to get my RE License in Indiana.

@Stephanie W. : It's not Section 8 and the tenants are very pleasant and respectful.

Obviously, that is all relative.My tenant's lawyer was a few hours late and I was able to witness several eviction (disp.) cases.

I do everything my relatives wife does and then some.Present day.After witnessing a great duo (think Jordan and Pippen) but for husband and wife business owners.

I've been thru this before in another state and 2 witnesses weren't required.
