I think that is a bit harsh. 

This tenant needs to learn a harsh lesson and move along.

So it's pretty important that we prepare new investors to the harsh reality that many people do live this way & see no issue with it at all.

I recall reading somewhere that between OCT-APRIL you cannot evict a tenant because the weather is so harsh.  

Overselling is a harsh word my dude.. try ... inspiring others to take the right path.

It gave hope and belief to me, for sure.And, I think it's really worth mentioning that this was essentially before home computers and the Internet were ubiquitous (well, I didn't have either at the time), so it's not like you could just watch the latest YouTube video to glean all of this information.In the end, people are unnecessarily harsh. 

I just paid the collection, in retrospect it wasn't worth stiffing someone who ripped me off, but as someone who sees a lot of credit reports, that seems unreasonably harsh.
