As it is for us, with no kids, we'll be forced to go to Amex, and then Citi, all sorts of different cards, all sorts of online accounts to change over, all sorts of web interface quirks and problems for each, all sorts of customer service quirks for each account...just too much baloney for our blood and too much risk of something going sideways and all the balls in the air to come crashing down.Keep in mind the CC companys rely on mismanagement of credit..

A person is only as smart as the questions they do ask rather than the ones they don't.But yes with your large amount of CC debt and no verifiable income that is paying it, your DTI with be way over 100% Most lenders won't give you anything with over 40-55ish% But even those are extreme cases.
