With all the hype of Indianapolis the last 10 years has anyone shifted focus on other areas near Indy?

I got all hyped up about investing and decided to form an LLC.

This guy was throwing BOMBS of knowledge at us, talking about his personal experiences in real estate, getting into markets early before the hype hits them *cough* south side *cough* and investing while you still can.Here's his philosophy:"If you're going to buy a property on the block, why not run the whole block?"

Also, don't get caught up in all of the hype of finding a mentor at this moment.

You'll get a little useful info, but expect a lot of hype because at the end they are going to try and sell you an expensive coaching program.

I'm too hyped up to wait until next weeks REI meeting in town, so I'm hoping someone can tell me something on here.

Don't teach hype, zero money down or house hacking and OMG never wholesaling!!

I listened to the $1,000 series of "Doctor Cashflow" CDs, including the very last CD, which he hypes quite a lot in the first 5 CDs, and which purports to tell you HOW to approach the nonprofits who do the housing referrals for cognitively disabled adults.

I watched the video I'm just trying to dig through the hype.

Purely marketing and psychology.The best "silver dagger" is good education, but most are looking for a quick and easy buck so they won't arm themselves to get into this arena.Gurus sell perceptions, the product is a by-product of content that supports the hype and justifies the perception sold.
