Those who should be investing in Newark are those who are "hardened landlords" with years under their belt.  

He mentioned perhaps pouring water into the drain pipe by the evaporator and using the shop vac as a blower to see where the water ends up. 

I believe some of the moisture is still contained in the souls in the crawl Space.During the rehab, the contractor I'm working with moved the furnace to a wall furnace on the main level and the new water heater vents (with blower) to an outside wall so there really isn't much of a heat source down there.

Even if you only buy rentals or fix and flips don't discount this strategy from your tool belt.

Hey Fellow BP'ers,So let me start off by saying I have a handful of deals under my belt by now but this one was by FAR the most stressful/hardest buy I have had the pleasure of doing.

Ultimately, we made money, but on an hourly basis, it was not really worth it in the end.If I were getting started, I would look for relatively easy deals to do...accept less money/return...BUT get the accomplishment/experience "under your belt". 

To me it seems like their rules are structured to protect the passive investors, to the detriment of the syndicators, at least until the syndicators get a few deals under their belt.  

I have one flip under my belt that I found through a local company, but their profit estimates for properties are a bit inflated to say the least.

This is a great opportunity to earn your first ultra-marathon belt buckle or even a great prep race for the rest of your season.Whether you want to run or just want to volunteer, this is going to be a great weekend event.
