hello, After reading and a lot researching, i am finally ready to take the plunge. . iam in contract buying a duplex and 8 units in toledo, ohio area. i do have a partner going in with me. i have few questions about structuring entity.1) i live in NY area.

My wife were in the same boat a few years ago and decided to take the plunge.

I do share you angst that folks are being harmed by a reenforcement mechanism that does not allow them to take the plunge to provide for themselves but at the same time I see the value in stability a large portion of folks you describe would fail miserably if the carpet was pulled out from under them.

Part of my decision to invest with Spartan stems from reading your posts and replies to fellow investors and after speaking with Maureen I decided to take the initial plunge.  

New to real estate investing but have read a couple books and scoured BP and I think I'm ready to take the plunge on my first property.

I plan to begin investing by the end of the year if I feel like I have covered all my bases and have learned enough to take the plunge.
