Is the number of vouchers given out for Section 8 properties limited and based on your experiences does it make any sense for me to invest in area where the houses are significantly cheaper as low as 25,000 and use them strictly as section 8 properties.

I LOVE poetic justice.....Internal Revenue Service employees in Tennessee were stealing unemployment and other benefits while fully employed.On Thursday, 13 of those employees were indicted on federal charges that they lied to get unemployment, food stamps, welfare and housing vouchers.

Will be using section 8 voucher.

The one tenant I have with a credit score over 600 has a HUD voucher. 

Hi I would like to know how are landlords receiving move in fees and first months rent from first time tenants with section 8 vouchers and how much are the move in fees maybe the percentage if not a flat fee.

I also find it important to see what their goal is in the future, I always ask them what they would do if they lost their voucher (What is their back up plan?). 

As you know, the voucher goes with the tenant and in my experience, the tenants are harder on the houses than non Section 8 tenants.

Looking for a PM to handle the properties and give me some insight into areas where I can get renters involved in the voucher program.

We have 0% section 8 or subsidized housing, voucher, eden, etc.
