Filing for eviction in Baltimore County
My tenant is late with paying her rent. She said that she is going to try to pay tomorrow. I advised that she absolutely needs to make it happen tomorrow, and that my policy is to file with the court by the 10th. (She found that threatening.) While I don't really want to be inconvenienced with having to go to the court house, I welcome it as a learning experience. Any advice on how to ensure that the process goes smoothly? Is there paperwork that I can fill out in advance? What method of payment does the court accept? Any other information that might be helpful would be appreciated. Thanks!

Gina - I have been doing this rental thing for over 40 years - we have over 80 rentals and only one is a section 8 (voucher) - they do pay on time - but I was never attracted to that program - at times the tenants are - well - a problem.
