Taste can be regional and you know your region far better than I do.

I called it "a nod and a nudge," a nod to the architecture, with a nudge in the ribs... respectful and tasteful, but not taking it overly seriously.My theory was simple: Everybody doesn't have to like it, but the right people need to LOVE IT... and it worked, every. single. time. 

I try to make thoughtful, tasteful choices in fit and finish and I am very generous with my "customers"..always working mindfully of them. 

That thing just leaves a sour taste in my mouth, but this isn't an ethics or political forum.

I would put the greatest energy in finding a prime locationThis more than anything would determine how much you make.Understand who would be  your best customerI would think it's someone who is in a hurry and doesn't have time to get a mealPride yourself on a quality product It has to taste good to get repeat business.

I am sure the Beverly Hills, Rodeo drive, or Santa monica buyer will have different tastes than a buyer in inglewood, eagle rock, or el monte areas.In my experience it has been up to $35-50 to replace roof, siding, exterior paint, landscaping, Hvac, plumbing, and the major components along with the costmetic components mentioned above.
