I'm sure I butchered it, but I've made an attempt to get all of our revenue, expenses, loans, etc., in Quickbooks, if that helps the CPA start somewhere.

Replaced all carpeting with high end flooring, fresh designer paint job (interior & exterior), updated all interior lighting, refinished kitchen cabinets, installed butcher top counters, added a custom "breakfast nook," replaced all windows, New HVAC & duct-work, cleaned up the overgrown yard and added exterior curb appeal, plus gutted & updated bathrooms.What was the outcome?

From what I've read though, they can require quite a bit of precaution and maintenance, but they can also last a long time if properly cared for.If you have experience with wood/butcher block counter-tops, I'd love to hear about it.

@Bill S. it's butcher block. i think it looked good and was fairly cheap. (160 for that). it does need monthly care so I'm curious to see if that happens (just a coat of mineral oil)
